octane by "x" points. Just keep in mind that what they consider a "point" is 0.1 octane so if it adds "10 points" to the fuel octane, that's just one step higher.. i.e. If you have 91 octane fuel and put an octane booster that claims 10 points increase, once you dump the bottle in the tank, you'll have the equivalent of 92 octane fuel, not 101 octane. It is weak, to say the least. There are other fuel alternatives out there such as race fuel, tolulene, and water injection, which will give you a much larger performance increase.
